Doing What We Can – Working with organizations advocating for a vaccine plan

A Vaccine Plan | Our path back to normal

We do what we can. None of us have lived through a pandemic before and we have all learned and we have all been changed. I am thankful that a range of effective vaccines have laid out a path back to normal life and that we have been able to assist important organizations that are advocating for a vaccine plan.

I am proud of the influential work my business partner Joanne Kearney has done hosting a series of videos  advocating for vaccination for the Centre for Living Organ Donation at UHN.

Joanne is a board member of the UHN Foundation and has moderated COVID-19 Vaccines and Transplant Q&A Sessions with Infectious Disease physicians from the Ajmera Transplant Centre. Each session was virtually attended live by 300 people and watched on YouTube over 1,200 times. The goal was to address safety and efficacy concerns and to encourage high-risk transplant patients to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

We also feel fortunate to have acted as advisors for Vaccine Hunters Canada, a ground breaking organization of volunteers who carved out an extraordinary role in assisting in the implementation of the vaccine plan. Many have thanked them and we add our voices to those thanks for their work
